2002 Trip Two: A Tourist VisitThe 2002 trip was in actuality three separate tours starting on September 11 and ending on October 20 The first tour, led by John Blake, consisted of seven Pleasant Hill residents, who enjoyed visiting Istanbul, Ankara, Amasya, and Merzifon. (Tour 1) The second tour saw the joining of two smaller groups, the original one led by John Blake and a second one led by Pastor Dick Brewer. Together, these fourteen friends explored Gallipoli, the seven Churches of Revelation, Pamukkale, Konya, and Cappadocia. (Tour 2) The third tour involved Dick Brewer and John Blake taking off on their own for a two-week circuit of eastern Turkey to investigate lands neither had visited before. (Tour 3) |
