Friends of Merzifon Projects

2002 Project One - Fund Raiser for Wheelchairs. Friends of Merzifon became actively engaged in the Wheelchairs for Peace program. The goal of the project was to raise money to send 280 wheelchairs to Merzifon.

2003 Project Two - Wheelchair Delivery. Friends of Merzifon sent 280 wheelchairs to the port of Istanbul from where they were shipped overland to Merzifon and were then distributed to the disabled and handicapped people in the city of Merzifon, the county of Merzifon, and the province of Amasya in which Merzifon is located.
